The Original Shutter
The Original Shutter is our top-of-the-line shutter. It is available in 3-different louver sizes and color choices. Its premium paint finish will not crack or peel, and will remain steadfast throughout the lifetime of the shutter! The shutter is made of superior cellular synthetic material. It is not made of cheap MDF (particle board), composite materials or hollow vinyls. Because our material is made of strong solid construction, it will not delaminate or swell and end caps are not needed.

The AmberWood Shutter
The AmberWood Shutter are our line of wood shutters offered by AVBCO/PolyDesign. These shutters are made of American Basswood with engineered solid wood louvers that are designed to be warp resistant. For durability we use our “ding” resistant PolyDesign Tilt rods and Louver Hole Strips. Amberwood Shutters use Tension Pins on varying louvers to optimize a smooth and constant tilt operation. We do not use Tension Screws that apply tension to only one louver and can crack and fail in operation over a period of years. Our paint finish is as smooth as our PolyDesign Shutters and one of the highest quality finishes in the industry. They are offered in the same colors as PolyDesign Shutters and are available in custom colors.
Specialty Staggered Louver Panels
The Original is offered as an arch top shutter. This shutter is designed for eyebrow windows. The panels are contoured to fit windows with a slight arch. The specifications, colors, and louver sizes are the same as the original shutter.
Deluxe Sunburst
This Sunburst is a completely framed unit. The Sunburst can be framed with any of our framing systems which allows the Sunburst to be removed for cleaning. The louvers are individually operable and the shutter is fully painted. Half and quarter Sunburst are also available.
