Because our material is made of a solid construction, it will not separate or swell so end caps are not needed. Formaldehyde is NEVER used as a preservative to ensure the health and well-being of your family. We go the extra mile to ensure our shutters are engineered to last a lifetime!

PolyDesign Shutters can be sawed, sanded and painted just like wood shutters. The specially formulated industrial urethane coating will never yellow, crack, flake or peel. Formulated in the USA so we can guarantee there is NO LEAD in our coatings. The finish will remain steadfast throughout the lifetime of our shutters! Our materials are designed to be painted unlike other synthetics.
